Vacuum Brake | A brake assembly interacts with both a pressure sensitive cabin seal to effect actuation of a braking device mounted to rails external to the cabin.
A mounting plate acts as a central core assembly device for interaction of a member, a spring enabled braking device and a pivoting lever controlling the modal servicing of the brakes. The pivoting lever is moveably mounted on the back of the mounting plate so as to permit motion thereon. The member attached to the pivot lever is threaded through a hole in a seal found in an upper cabin seal. This cabin seal is sensitive to minute changes in pressure thereby effecting motion in the member attached thereto; the motion of this member serves to move the lever actuating brakes that open and close thereby.

A brake assembly interacts with both a pressure sensitive cabin seal and a spring affected braking device to enable the opening and closing of the brake.
